Day 01-
Arrival in
Panama City and transfer to the Canopy Tower, located in the heart of
Soberanía National Park and a prime location from which to observe the birds and
other wildlife of the forest canopy. You don't have to leave
the Tower to find birds, you don't even have to leave your bedroom! Evening
lecture dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 02-
Morning
Ammo Dump and afternoon Chagres River sights. Night Owling tour. (BLD)
Day 03- Morning Summit Pond.
Afternoon Old Gamboa Road tour. (BLD)
Day 04-
Full day tour
Pipeline Rd
with lunch in the forest. (BLD)
Day 05-
Transfer to
El
Valle de Antón. Accommodations at the Canopy Lodge, located on the
edge of a village nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano and adjacent
to the protected area of Cerro Gaital Natural Monument. Arrive in time to
visit the "Sunday Market" when artisans come down from the surrounding
mountains to sell their goods. El Chorro Macho Trails and bird feeders

Day 06-
Cerro
Gaital Trail and
The Canopy Adventure, a series of zip
lines high in the canopy. (BLD)
Day 07-
Altos del Maria. Departing
early in comfortable 4x4 sport’s utility vehicles, along the Pan-American
Highway and then up into the mountains. (BLD)
Day 08-
Return to Panama City and to
airport for departure flight. (B)
